Bats: Wood v. Metal

Here's a (hopefully) new angle to view the metal vs. wood bat question:

If we didn't already have metal bats in use, how many of you would vote to change the rules to allow them?

Let's see, here's some arguments... We can all pay $200+ for bats that dent or lose their "bounce" within a year or so. They also sound funny and may increase the injury hazard to pitchers (and 3rd basemen!)

I vote no.
