Face Masks

I thought I heard somewhere that LLBI is now requiring these in 1998. The reason I haven't confirmed it is that our local league adopted it as a league rule some years ago after having at least two kids lose their front teeth batting. Our kids & parents never complain because they don't think they have a choice & they don't. It's not worth a kid getting his teeth knocked out for the minor inconvenience. Plus our kids in tournaments seem to much less afraid of the ball than our competitors.
