Why Little League?
By: Jeff T.I am a board member of our local L.L. and would change in a heart-beat. My primary beef is the rules. I am interested, that as an Independent, what rules you play. AABC orgs seem to have it right when they play straight baseball (with base and mound distance changes) from the very start. As the players progress, the distances change so that there is not the shock of going from L.L. distances straight to a full-size diamond. One of the local leagues in our area has gone Indy and plays AAU rules, where at age 11, the real fun begins. Just wanted to put my 2-cents in. JT.
