playing time

you watch that tape, and see if we like to win or not..haha....the difference is that we are a "developmental" league, for lack of a better term....these kids have no clue as to how to play organized football...they all see it on tv, and want to play, but dont realize what its about...we have to teach them everything....first we have to UNteach them about grab tackles, and standing up, and not running to the qb to get a handoff, and all those wonderful things beginning with stances...etc...THATS what the league wants emphasized, and personally, at this level, i agree...we try to teach them the right things, the right way...and as you well know, if they learn to block, and tackle, and execute, everything else-like winning-will take care of itself...we want attitude, and desire, and hustle, and that we will teach them the rest...and, i like to think we ve done ok.....in the 7 yrs ive been coaching, we ve been to the championship game every year but 2, and won it twice, including last year....this year was a mess, for alot of reasons..worst season ive ever been associated with, and as head coach, i take full responsibility for it, just, as head coach, i take all the credit for our great year last year...hahah.....to finally see those kids face when the "light" goes on for them, and they finally "get it" as coach rob would say, is well worth the efforts....to see where they are at the end of the season from where they came, is nite and day.....and, theres just as much yelling and screaming at all of our practices and games by coachesas there are at yours or anyone elses....we do everything we can to help those kids be successful, and when they are, it makes you so proud of them, but when they work soooo hard, and try soooo hard, and you still cant get them over that hump, breaks your heart sooo bad.....which brings up another point...i used the exact same "system" on offense and defense last year, and we won the title, and scored alot.......this year, we were shut out 3 times, and only scored more than one td, once... same system....defense gave up 32 pts in a game early on...never had one do that before....last year we didnt give 32 pts COMBINED....same system...whats the difference this year? last year i was a genius, this year in an !@#$%...whats the difference?
