» Graduation Friday 13 June, 2008
Cadet volunteers will be needed to stand post (similar to home football games) around the stadium during the senior graduation ceremony. Uniform will be Summer Blues and cadets will earn three (3) participation points toward the upcoming school year. Extra cadet help will be needed to "break-down" the stage and sound equipment. Food and water will be provided.
» Sail Academy at NAB Coronado, CA Thursday 19 June, 2008
Selected cadets will attend the sailing academy to learn more about the skill. The Cadets choosen to attend are C/CPO Anela Amba-Pascua , C/PO1 Brian Marbury , C/PO2 Hunter Trice , C/?? ??? ????(Know someone else who attended? Let us know! ). Cadets will take courses on sail and bring their skills to the test onboard actual sailboats. We hope they have a lot of fun!
» Leadership Academy Tuesday 24 June, 2008 - Sunday 29 June, 2008
Accepted cadets will attend the Leadership Academy located in Thousand Oaks, CA. Cadets earn the "Silver Cord" upon graduation of the academy.

» Color Guard Performance for San Diego Padres @ Petco Park Monday 28 July, 2008
Our Color Guard Team ( consisting of Left Rifleman C/PO2 Patrick Pizzaro , Navy Flagman C/MCPO Eric Gross , American Flagman C/PO1 Brian Marbury , and Right Rifleman C/PO3 Andrew Johnson ) will preform at Petco Park for the pre-game presentation of the Colors and National Anthem.
» Freshman Orientation Thursday 7 August, 2008
Cadet volunteers will be asked to set-up and maintain a table for recruitment purposes at the Freshman Orientation located at CHS. Uniform is to be decided among those working the event. Three (3) points of participation credit earned by volunteers will go towards the upcoming school year.
» Parent Support Group Meeting Monday 11 August, 2008
The Parents who aid our unit are holding a pre school-year meeting. Cadets, let your parents know about the opportunity to help out this upcoming year! And remember, we couldnt be where we are now if it wasn't for the parents!

» Welcome aboard picnic Saturday 6 September, 2008
» The first event of the year is kicked off with the welcoming of the new cadets. All cadets are allowed and encouraged to come and enjoy the picnic. The picnic is located at the Riverton Park were Nicholas and Riverton Ln meet. Food will be on the "bring your favorite dish" basis. Fun, games, and more will make the new cadets feel welcome and build their future or teamwork. Parents are welcome to come and join in on the fun!
