Exodus 4:12 - Now Therefore go...
We are considering Exodus 4:12, which reads: "Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say." Today we want to consider the command as seen in the word go.
The Lord commanded Moses to go. What was He to go and do? He was to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt into the land of Canaan, the land God had promised Abraham years before.
The Lord has a will for each believer and that divine will involves some type of service or ministry. God's command to us today is to enter into that ministry or service. There are no exceptions. Please make this personal. You as a believer are no exception.
In I Corinthians 12:18 we find these words: "But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased Him." In other words, God has placed you in the body of Christ for a purpose. He has a job for you to do in the local church.
Therefore, notice verse 27: "Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular." Beliver friend, God has His eye and hand on you, for He wants you to serve Him wherever you are. Now therefore go, and get busy for Him. That is the Lord's command to you.
