Deception
One of Satan's tools is deception. He is a deceiver. If he can blind one to the truth, he has won a great victory; for, in doing so, he has immobilized that one in that given area. Therefore, God has warned us to be on the lookout for such.
In Galatians 6:7, we read, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." Since God is all-knowing, there is no way that He can be mocked. We cannot profess one thing and live another without God knowing such, for He has establised a fixed law. That law is: What one sows, one is going to reap.
If a farmer sows wheat, he certainly will not harvest corn, but wheat. This fixed law or principle is just as true in the spiritual realm as in agriculture; for there is a spiritual harvest day coming. In verse 8 of Galatians 6, we find this truth: "For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting."
Dear reader, what are you sowing in this life: If you are living only for the flesh and its appetitites, at the eternal harvest you will reap an eternal consciousness separated from God in a horrible hell. The only way to reap life everlasting is to sow in the Spirit by receiving Christ as your personal Saviour.
